New Entry Period for DV-2025 Diversity Visa Program

The Pacific Engagement Visa (PEV) program has announced an increase in the number of visas available for the upcoming year. This program, designed to strengthen ties between the United States and countries in the Pacific region, will increase the number of visas available from 3,500 to 5,000 for the DV-2025 Diversity Visa Program. The entry period for this program was between October 4, 2023, and November 7, 2023.
To be eligible for the PEV program, applicants must meet certain requirements, including:
- Being a citizen of one of the eligible countries in the Pacific region
- Having a high school education or its equivalent
- Having at least two years of work experience in a field related to the visa category
The selection process for the DV-2025 program is random and conducted through a computer-generated lottery system. Applicants who are selected will be notified by the U.S. Department of State and must complete the visa application process, including an interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate.
