Lazio coach Paulo Fonseca has decided to bench star duo Ciro Immobile and Luis Alberto for the match against AC Milan on Sunday.

Immobile, who has scored 15 goals in 21 Serie A appearances this season, has been struggling with a muscle problem in recent weeks.

Alberto, meanwhile, has been in poor form and has not scored in his last six league matches.

Fonseca has opted to replace Immobile with Pedro, who has scored four goals in his last five appearances.

Alberto has been replaced by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who will play in a more advanced role.

AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli has no major injury concerns and is expected to field a strong team against Lazio.

Rafael Leao is expected to start on the left wing, with Olivier Giroud leading the line.

The match between Lazio and AC Milan is scheduled to kick off at 19:45 CET on Sunday.
