WNBA 2022 Season Schedule
Key Dates and Information
The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) has officially released the schedule for its 2022 season. The highly anticipated season will feature 36 games for each of the league's 12 teams, beginning on Friday, May 6th, and concluding on Sunday, August 28th.
The season will be divided into three phases: the regular season, the playoffs, and the WNBA Finals.
The regular season will consist of 10 games against each opponent within the team's conference and six games against each opponent in the opposite conference.
The top eight teams from each conference will qualify for the playoffs. The first round of the playoffs will be a single-elimination game, followed by a best-of-three semifinal series and a best-of-five WNBA Finals series.
The 2022 WNBA Finals are scheduled to begin on September 15th and conclude no later than October 1st.
